Our Sign DE product powers fiscal receipt processing for the German market, and you’ll play a critical role in its success. You’ll help shape secure, high-performance systems that power certified and uncertified components, ensuring compliance while enabling scalability. This is a role for engineers who want real impact, ownership, and the chance to solve complex problems creatively — within meaningful regulatory frameworks.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Own the backend development of the Sign DE solution
• Translate legal and compliance requirements into scalable, production-ready code
• Build and optimize APIs and backend services in Golang
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape architecture and strategy
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Drive end-to-end delivery, from feature planning to monitoring in production
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders — including regulators
• Help create reusable solutions that can scale to other teams and markets
• You’ll actively apply AI/ML tools (e.g., code generation, anomaly detection, test automation) to enhance software quality, performance, and efficiency

✅ What You Bring

Must-Have Experience:

• 5+ years in backend development
• 2+ years working with Golang
• You’ve applied AI to improve backend systems—whether through automated scaling, anomaly detection, or intelligent logging
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and distributed systems
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience with software architecture patterns and scalable backend design
• Proven ability to mentor junior developers and lead by example
• Full professional proficiency in English

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with GitOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud services
• Agile mindset (without being process-heavy)
• German (C1)
