Finance Manager (FinTech/Payment)

We are hiring for a FinTech company in Hong Kong. The Financial Manager will lead the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and effective financial strategies to support the company’s operations and growth. Directly reporting to C-levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial audits, collaborating with external auditors to meet regulatory requirements.
• Manage the accounting team to maintain precise and compliant financial records.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to secure capital for business operations.
• Offer financial expertise to support departments such as sales, marketing, and operations in achieving their goals.
• Stay informed on industry trends and adopt best practices in financial management to drive organizational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification.
• Preference for candidates with experience in FinTech or payment industries.
• Minimum of 3 years of auditing experience at CPA firms; with commerical experience is ideal.
• Knowledge of SOC1, SOC2, and ISO27001 standards is a plus.
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.
• Strong expertise in corporate financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
• Advanced analytical skills to interpret complex data, identify anomalies, and evaluate risks in economic forecasts, with proficiency in tools like Tableau and SQL.
• Proven experience with financial management software.
