# Claims Analyst / Vet Advisor - Aift OneDegree is an Insurtech company, with a virtual insurer license granted by the Hong Kong Insurance Authority in 2020. Since then, we have grown quickly into the leading Hong Kong virtual insurer with an ambition to bring consumers a seamless and instant insurance and claim experience through technology. We currently offer multi-line digital insurance products, including pet, medical, fire and home insurance for individuals, and cyber security and digital asset insurance for enterprise businesses. ## Responsibilities - Assist the claims team in reviewing and assessing pet insurance claims. - Review medical receipts to determine the medical conditions/ expenses can be reimbursed in accordance with policy wording. - Investigate complicated claim cases and conduct a thorough review of medical documents. - Provide professional advice on claim-related projects. - Work part-time remotely in Taiwan for 16 to 20 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. ## Requirements - Veterinary Surgeon registered in Taiwan/Hong Kong and have been practicing in animal hospitals/clinics for at least 3 years - Quick to learn and adapt; ready to learn and demonstrate a growth mindset - Detailed-minded - Familiarity with basic insurance concepts would be beneficial - Exhibit strong analytical and organizational skills - Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Excellent communicator both verbally & in writing in English ## Interview Process - Phone interview with HR. - 1st Interview: 2 hours meet with hiring managers

As part of the store’s team, you will be fully immersed in every aspect of our customers’ journeys as they visit our stores. Therefore, as an Editor, you will be trained in all aspects of the store operation, including our customer-facing and back-of-house operations. You will assist with coverage and will be equipped to work in both environments, front and back of the house. Having a holistic understanding of the customer journey, from start to finish, will strengthen our team’s abilities when assisting customers with any and all inquiries - with leadership guidance and support as needed.
